Hong Kong low-fare carrier HK Express has selected Ultramain Systems’ ULTRAMAIN ELB and technical logbook software for its fleet of 34 A320 Family aircraft.

The use of ULTRAMAIN ELB in its Airbus fleet will enable HK Express to capture real-time paperless data, reducing paper in the cabin and improving operational visibility and reliability. With this real-time visibility into maintenance operations, HK Express will also lower maintenance costs, increase aircraft utilisation, and reduce deferral rates.

Alan Tang, Director of Maintenance and Engineering, said: “This advanced electronic logbook software aligns with our commitment to leveraging innovative technology to streamline our processes and reduce our environmental footprint. We anticipate that ULTRAMAIN ELB will greatly improve our maintenance operations, providing real-time data capture and seamless defect management, ultimately leading to improved service for our passengers and a more sustainable operation.”

Tim Spears, Vice President of Onboard Systems, added: “We are thrilled to welcome HK Express to the ULTRAMAIN ELB User Community, marking substantial growth of our presence in Hong Kong. We are looking forward to getting HK Express up and running on ULTRAMAIN ELB so they too can realise the benefits of streamlined digital workflows.”
