Werner Aero has acquired an A319-100 aircraft, which was last operated by Air India. The A319 aircraft is currently at Ascent Aviation Services’ facility in Marana, Arizona, where it will be dismantled for spares.

“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of another A319-100 for teardown. The acquisition adds more inventories to our A320ceo spare parts to meet our customers’ demand. We continue to acquire A320ceo/737NG and E-Jet to keep our inventories level high enough to provide high-quality services to our customers,” said Werner Aero EVP Tony Kondo.

The asset management and logistics solutions provider has grown its portfolio of aircraft over the last few years in an MRO environment with a stagnant supply chain where spare parts from older aircraft are a lifeline to keep their younger counterparts flying.

The last aircraft it acquired was a Boeing 737-800 in March 2024, last operated by Royal Air Maroc.
