Vallair has appointed François Biarneix as its new Operations Director, in a role that will oversee the strategic deployment and operations of Vallair’s aerostructure and composite shop, engine shop, logistics department and aircraft dismantling activities.

Biarneix previously held the role of Technical Manager for a supplier specialising in parts production for the Airbus and Safran programmes. He headed a team that transferred A330 component production from Airbus’s Nantes facility – a move which resulted in high revenue growth.

Drawn to Vallair due to its strong leadership from the CEO and senior team, Biarneix is optimistic about the asset specialist’s future for growth and development. “I see opportunities ahead for implementing standards and procedures,” he said, “optimising layouts, deploying Lean tools and streamlining processes to improve TATs and deliver increased cost-savings for customers.

“Vallair has exciting plans to expand its operations including increased aerostructure capacity, creating a logistics hub, and increasing dismantling activity. We are also looking at further development in our new engine shop to manage module replacement through to maintenance,” he added.
