Pan Am Flight Academy has acquired an Airbus A330 Full-Flight Simulator for its Miami Training Centre.

Relocated from Bahrain, it has been installed at the new Pan Am Flight Academy training centre in Hialeah, Florida. The simulator features engine models, including the Rolls Royce Trent, General Electric’s GE CF6-80, and Pratt & Whitney PW 4000. The simulator is integrated with the CAE Tropos visuals system and Moog Electric Motion.

“At Pan Am, we prioritise offering diversity, flexibility, as well as unparalleled quality and technology to our valued aviation customers.”

Training on this simulator is scheduled to commence in late summer 2024. The addition of this latest A330 simulator brings the total number at its Axis Park training centre up to nine. It will sit alongside the existing A320 Level D simulator and bring the total number of simulators in service at Pan Am Flight Academy to 22.
